Gratituesday #6

My husband came home last Friday and said that he survived a lay off. Apparently his employers laid off 6 men on his crew. Some of these men have been with the union for years. My husband is a Journeyman Electrician and is currently working for the local electrical union. He has been working at one of our local hospitals adding on a huge new addition.

Isn't that God's mercy to protect our family from a lay off? I feel so blessed. Here we are 2 months from having a new baby, and work in town is slow. I don't know what we would have done had he been one of those men! Praise God for his protection.

So many things to be grateful for today!

Oh wow, so scary too! But God always provides!

Thank God for that protection! Job insecurity is something that many of us are living with, and our only hope is in trusting God's provision.

Nothing is greater than God's protection. I pray that nothing happens with your husbands job and good luck and congrats on the new baby!

Thanks everyone! Well, his job is temporary, but should last at least one more year. I don't know what doors may open up at that point. We have to continue to trust the Lord to watch out for us.
