Please Pray

I wanted to ask you all to keep my family in prayer. My husband is being laid off as of this Friday. He is a Journeyman Electrician and has been working on a new addition to one of our local hospitals. He has been there over a year and the job is now coming to an end. We were hoping there would be work until January. They told him about the lay off right before our baby was born. My husband didn't tell me until after the baby was here as he knew how upsetting it would be to me.

His last day was suppose to be last week but they extended it to this week. Another week is good and I am thankful for that, but he needs a good steady job. Pray God opens doors to something even better then his present job. I am trying to be trust that everything will work out and something will open up, but it is also very scary. It couldn't have come at worse timing. I suppose these things never do come when it's convenient though.

Praying for you now. God has a much bigger imagination than we do, thank goodness! He never closes one door without opening another!

It's all going to work out. My hubby was a journeyman pipe and instrumentation fitter (who also did a little welding here and there) who got laid off the day our 3rd child was born and then again (from another job) with our 4th baby in my 3rd trimester...and we lost our insurance...which really stunk. It's all going to work out though...one way or another God will see to it that it does.

God bless and remember that the holiday season coming up, you can do small, meaningful things for people, and they will appreciate them more than lavish gifts. Also, children are excited about holidays, the size of the gifts doesn't matter. Spend time with family and do 'snuggly' things together.

Will DEF keep your family in my prayers! It is so hard not to worry and to let God handle it, but He knows your needs and WILL reward your faith! Doesn't mean He'll make life easy, but He won't leave you and He will help you! Hang in there! Hugs!
