I LOVE brownies! Who doesn't? Brownies are one of my most favorite desserts. There is nothing better than a warm chewy brownie and a glass of cold milk after a nice meal. Sometimes baking brownies can be a real challenge though. Brownies typically come out of the oven with rock hard edges and a mushy center.
The Edge Brownie Pan by Baker's Edge was designed by a husband and wife team from Indiana. They created the Edge Brownie Pan with a unique zig-zag design. This design improves baking performance by circulating heat evenly to the pan’s middle, where food typically takes longer to bake. It also adds two chewy edges to every serving! If you are an edge lover...you are going to love this!
My Baker's Edge Experience:
From the moment I first saw the Baker's Edge Brownie Pan online I was intrigued, so I was thrilled to have this opportunity to review one. I didn't expect the Edge Brownie Pan to be as well made as it is. This pan is nice and sturdy! It has a super smooth finish which makes removal of brownies a breeze and also makes clean up simple.
The Edge Brownie Pan is 9" x 12" and made of professional grade, heavy-gauge cast aluminum. It has a durable nonstick coating and round, easy-to-clean corners. The single-chamber design allows the batter to be easily spread. The Edge Brownie Pan comes with a recipe booklet and nylon spatula. The recipe booklet also tells you everything you need to know about caring for your pan as well as warranty information.
I used 1 box of Betty Crocker Cookie Brownie Bars mix in my pan. At first I was worried there wasn't enough mix to cover the bottom of the pan, but indeed there was! The Edge Brownie Pan is made to fit most standard brownie mixes.
I baked these brownies for 25 minutes. The box said 35-40 minutes, but I prefer my brownies be a bit moist on the inside. The end result was amazing! The brownies had a nice crisp (not hard) edge, chewy center and flaky top. They were PERFECT! I loved how easily the shape of the Edge Pan allowed for cutting up each portion as well. So nice!My overall opinion of the Edge Brownie Pan? LOVE it! I am very impressed by the design. I have never had my brownies cook evenly like they did in this pan. I look forward to experimenting with new recipes to try out in the Edge Brownie Pan.

Love this. I learned that Dishwashers can damage nonstick bakeware, so to be safe we recommend hand washing.

I learned that foods that typically require 20-30 minutes in a conventional pan will probably require the same amount of time in their pans. However, foods with a typical baking time of 40 minutes or more may bake slightly faster.
