I recently watched a PBS show called the 1900 House which took a modern day family and had them live as they did in the year 1900. One of the things I found most interesting was the vacuum they used back then. It wasn't much of a vacuum at all! This contraption mainly pushed air around, it did not even seem to pick up dirt! I have been so pleased with the Hoover Windtunnel T-Series vacuum! It picks up so much more than my old vacuum and I am loving the easy empty dirt cup. With the push of a lever all the contents of the dirt cup drop into the trash! No cloud of dust, no yucky filter to shake clean....love it! My other favorite feature is the washable filter. With my old vacuum we had to replace the filter every few months and it cost $20 each time. The Hoover is going to save us money over the years which wins points with me as well.
