Fluff Fest- SoftBums Cloth Diaper Review and 2 Winner Giveaway!!

Soft Bums is a fantastic company owned by a husband and wife team that have been selling their unique cloth diapers since 2008. Sarah Van Bogart, the brains behind the designs, has combined everything we love about each diapering style into just 2 diapering systems. The Omni and the Echo diapering systems have become one of my favorites to use. In fact, I cannot wait to purchase more as I am always happy when these diapers are cleaned and I can once again put them on my son.

The Omni is their newest diaper. They sent me this diaper in their Giraffe print, which I think is adorable! I'll start by saying I love this diaper! I have not had a single leak and I have used this while out running errands, naps, in the house and over night. As I've mentioned before, my son is quite the heavy wetter and if I don't change farely quick, leaks happen!

You have the option to use this diaper 3 different ways. You can snap in your insert, put the insert in the pocket, or put in a prefold and use it as an extra absorbant cover! My personal
preference is to snap in the insert because it is much easier than stuffing and unstuffing pockets.

Soft Bums has designed an insert specially for the Omni system that comes in both the Super DryTouchPOD and the Organic Bamboo Pods. They have a wide back and are extra long in the front. You fold it under where your baby needs it and you get an extra layer of protection. This gives you full coverage and maximum absorbancy for those really heavy wetters.

Their second diaper is the Echo, which I received in a nice Chocolate color. As with the Omni, this diaper did not leak at all! What makes the Echo different from the Omni is that it does not come with a pocket. You can snap in your insert, or use a prefold. So simple!

The DryTouch Pod and MiniPod both fit perfectly in the Echo shell. I really liked that despite being a one size diaper, it was not really bulky on my son. Since he is still small, one size diapers are often a little big.

Features that both diapering systems share:

Size Slide adjusting system. Basically this is a drawstring inside the diaper. I really like this feature. I have had a perfect fit around my sons legs every time I've put them on him. It is simple to use and you don't have to worry about the snaps coming undone if you have a super active baby.

Industrial strenght velcro. I have not seen any sign of my velcro getting "fuzzy". Snaps sometimes mean that the diaper is either just a little too tight, or a little too lose. I enjoyed the perfect fit of the velcro option.

Laundry Tabs. Sometimes laundry tabs don't work. You fold them over and when you open the dryer, everything is stuff to your diaper anyway. I have not had this problem with my Soft Bums diaper. The quality of the velcro is fantastic!

I really like using these diapers. Soft Bums has really figured out how to combine all the best qualities from different diapering systems in to two functional diapers.
