I love to use the cold winter months to help my children learn and grow in the kitchen. It is a great time to teach them how to bake cookies, make a special cake for Daddy, or even how to put a simple meal on the table. There is no worry of "heating" up the house or of rushing off to the next fun filled summer event. It is just a warm cozyway to spend a chilly afternoon at home with those special people in your life. And it is a great way to turn an average dinner into something special.

We also love to sew, create, and craft in our house. So, we pass the winter days we will sometimes pull out our machine and create a simple project.
