Oh Baby! Extravaganza- Baby Be Mine Maternity Review and Gownie Giveaway!

Baby Be Mine Maternity is an online retailer offering women maternity and nursing wear that is both functional and stylish.  At Baby Be Mine you will find everything from the ever popular Bell Bands, fashionable delivery gowns, plus size delivery gowns, baby romper sets and more! Started in 2005 by two moms, Baby Be Mine quickly grew into what it is today.  Their products (particularly their Gownie delivery gown) have been featured in numerous popular pregnancy magazines such as Pregnancy & Newborn, Prima Baby & Pregnancy, Mother and Baby,etc.  Their gowns have also been seen on television in  "The Office", TLC's "A Baby Story", and "Cake Boss"!


Naturally, I was excited when Baby Be Mine approached me about reviewing a couple of their products for our Oh Baby! Extravaganza.  I was sent one of their maternity nursing sets and one of their popular Gownie delivery gowns for this review.  Great timing too!  My growing belly is getting so big most of my pajamas are tight and uncomfortable.

Maternity Ultimate Lounge Set

When I first opened up the Maternity Lounge Set I was amazed at it's softness.  Feels lightweight and silky smooth.  When I tried the set on I was so comfortable in them I left the one the remainder of the day!  There are several reasons why this lounge set is unique.  First of all, this set can be used for pregnancy and is made to stretch along with your belly without being uncomfortable.  Second, it is also a nursing set and can be used postpartum as well.  Heck, you can use these if your not pregnant of nursing!  On top of all this, this set is meant to be worn everyday, out and about, or as pajamas.  Hmmm, I think we have a winner here!  I even wore the shirt alone with a pair of jeans and that looked nice as well.  Very versatile!

Ella Gownie

Whether you are going to the hospital for a vaginal delivery or c-section, it is so nice to have your own delivery gown!  Who wants to wear something that has been on thousands of women?  Not only that, I don't know about the hospital gowns at your local hospital, but the ones here are down right ugly!  Light pink with faded flowers and nothing but ties in the back.  The arm holes are also so big I constantly feel like I am flashing everyone in the room.  With this upcoming delivery, I want my own gown!  I want to be comfortable in what I wear and not feel as though I am a hospital patient.  

I was sent the Ella Gownie which is white with black flowers and pretty purplish pink around the neckline, nursing openings and back.  This gown snaps down the back (no obnoxious ties that come un-done) and has a snap down opening on each side of the upper collar and sleeve for easy breastfeeding access. This gown is made of 100% organic cotton (awesome) and machine washable.  It can be worn anytime during pregnancy if you need an extra nightgown, during labor, delivery and recovery!  I look forward to having something nice to wear this time around.  Afterall, shouldn't ever new mom feel good about herself?  Just because you gave birth doesn't mean you need to look like it!
