When it comes to car safety for my child I want to make sure that I have up to date facts and an up to date car seat. Not only that, I want a car seat that can last as long as possible while still providing the adequate protection at each stage. With all of the research being done on extended rear facing, it was important to me that my sons car seat would accommodate whatever guidelines might come into play. Each step of your child's development is taken into consideration in the design of the Pria 70 car seat. My husband and I found that it was quite simple to adjust and find the right fit for our son. He was just a little big for the Tiny Fit System at 18 lbs (depending on baby, it goes up to 22 lbs) so we simply took out the insert, placed in the little seat pad and lowered the back of the head rest.  My son is 11 months old and had been getting a bit antsy in his seat, once he was in our new Maxi Cosi convertible car seat that all changed. It is much taller so he can see out the windows and it sits him up a bit more so he is no longer laying back so far. Another nice little perk is how much less room it takes up. A lot of convertible seats push the front seats forward making it feel a little cramped for parents. With the Pria 70 you have plenty of foot room!

A few added perks include the cup holder within reaching distance, it is deep enough that you don't have to worry about spills which is nice. My son loves having his cup right there where he can get to it. I also really liked how soft and comfortable the seat is. There is lots of padding and the fabric feels very nice against your skin. The buckles are also very easy to maneuver, not too tight and not too lose. Another great feature is the color coded labels ensuring everything is set up properly and efficiently.

I am very pleased with our Maxi Cosi experience thus far. I love knowing that this seat will either work for our next little one or will continue to work for our son up through the booster seat stage. Maxi Cosi's Pria 70 convertible car seat is a top 10 car seat in Pregnancy and Newborns magazine for it's comfort, style, simplicity and most of all it's safety. I have yet to find something I don't like about this convertible car seat.
