Oh Baby! Extravaganza- Shabby Apple Sicily Maternity Dress Review and Giveaway!

Do you love vintage style clothing?  Do you wish today we had fashions such as they did back in the 20's, 40's and 60's?  There is something about the fashions back then that were so much more fun, so much more romantic!  I know I wish fashions today were a lot more respectful, elegant, and charming.  I must admit, I am much more casual on a day to day basis than I would like.  When the weather warms I love to be in skirts and dresses though.  I love how feminine I feel in them!  Being pregnant with a spring baby I wanted a few maternity dresses in my wardrobe.  I was excited when Shabby Apple offered me a chance to review one of their lovely dresses for review.

Shabby Apple is an online clothing boutique whom specializes in vintage inspired clothing for woman.  They offer a huge selection of dresses, skirts, vintage aprons, and of course maternity clothing!  You choose from a variety of clothing collections created from a different era in time or history.  So fun!  Currently some of the themes are Mad Hatter, South Pacific, 1943, Skyscraper and more!


I received the Sicily maternity dress to try.  This dress is so comfortable!  Made from a poly/rayon/spandex jersey blend it is soft to the touch and great for everyday wear.  It has an empire waist with ruching gathers to allow plenty of room for that growing baby belly.  It is also machine washable which is very nice.  You will need to wear a slip with this dress as it is on the thinner side.  I wore a black tank top for added coverage up top and a half slip on bottom.  Overall, this will be a great dress for summer and is nice and airy to keep me cool in hot weather.
