Oh Baby! Extravaganza- Simplisse Breastfeeding Products Review and Double Electric Breast Pump Giveaway!

We all know that breastfeeding is the best option for feeding our newborn babies.  Our bodies were designed to nourish our babies giving them exactly what they need.  Sometimes breastfeeding can be a demanding job and not every woman can be with her baby 24 hours a day.  Pumping and storing breast milk is a great alternative for women who work away from home or have other circumstances that keep them from nursing their babies.

I have always been a stay at home mom, but even at times I have had to rely on pumping my breasts for special circumstances.  For instance, when Baby J was 1 month old he had to have surgery to repair his pyloric muscle (he had pyloric stenosis) and spent a week in the hospital.  If I did not pump my breast milk throughout the day each day, my breastfeeding experience with my son would most likely come to an end. He needed that precious milk more than ever with having gone through what he did!  I was so grateful I had the option to pump.

Pumping your breast milk is not without it's drawbacks however.  Most breast pumps on the market today are painful to use leaving mother's quite sore after use.  There is no comparison between pumping and feeding your own baby at the breast....well, not until now!!!  Let me introduce you to the latest in breast pump technology!

The breast pump comes is real nice purse style tote bag and contains everything you need to express, store, and cool your breast milk.  In the bag you have the pump complete with motor, tubing, power cord and collection units.  You also receive an insulated cooler with waterproof bag and gel pads, 2 extra bottles, 10 breast milk storage bags and 4 disposable nursing pads. The Simplisse breast pump is BPA Free as well.  No worries about toxins leaching into your milk! 


Having nursed 4 babies and tried several different styles of breast pumps over the years I can honestly say this pump is the most comfortable.  I did a short test to see how the breast pump works to compare the feel of the breastcups to others I have tried.  There is no comparison to the comfort of this pump!  Hands down it is the gentlest pump.  There was no tugging or pulling.  I actually had to check to be sure it was working properly because I am so use to pain with other breast pumps.  It REALLY does feel as natural as nursing a baby!  As far as expressing breastmilk goes, I will have to update you on that part in a few months as my baby is not here yet (only 12 weeks to go).  You don't have to wait for me though, there are rave reviews of this product all over the internet! Next, I want to tell you about the Gia Angled Breastfeeding Pillow!  This nursing pillow is as unique as it sounds.  Featuring a thick-to-thin angled design the Gia supports baby at every stage of growth. Use the narrow side for newborns and the larger side for older babies. With both sides of the pillow baby rests in a natural incline position while nursing.   Positioning baby at an inclined position while breastfeeding can help with reflux and other feeding problems.

Notice the incline of the pillow.  It is gradual yet will help keep your baby in a better position for feeding.
