Last month my first born son turned 12! I can hardly believe this will be his official last year as a child and next year he will be a teenager! Scary! Seems like yesterday he was my baby boy and now he is as tall as I am. *sigh* Where did the time go?
At our house we do birthday parties every other year. This year was C's off year which means having a family birthday. I make a special breakfast, we do something together as a family and go out to dinner in the evening. Here is how C's birthday started out....
Baby "N" getting slathered with kisses first thing in the morning. Typical morning ritual.
Mr. C couldn't wait to open his gifts and got right to them before breakfast!
Cheapie MP3 player we bought him at Big Lots
(It ended up breaking less than a week later, boo!)
Yes, J is running around in his underwear. He is in the midst of potty training.
Do I have to read the card???
Lego storage container. He also got a lego watch, a super heros lego set,
and a lego mini figures Star Wars case.
The Birthday Breakfast
C's favorite is breakfast sandwiches made with turkey ham, egg and cheese. Yum!
Super Hero Breakfast
After breakfast, the rest of the day was spent shopping around town, visiting the library, dinner at Red Robin and then birthday cake & ice cream at home.
Since it was just the fam we bought a little chocolate cake from the grocery store.
Getting pretty bright there!
I am sure he wished for even more Legos!
Happy Wordless Wednesday!
