Time to count sheep!

Continuing with the Night, Night theme Baby "N" learned the difference between day and night.  I brought out the Opposites Mat from our November/December Buttercups curriculum kit and we talked about how during the day the sun is out and everything is bright, but at night the sun goes "night, night" and then we see the moon. Baby "N" loves the moon and enjoyed the pictures with this activity.  He loves to look outside at night and find the moon and stars.  After we completed this activity I put on Funshine's Music and Movement cd and we sang along with Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.

Yes, he is wearing cowboy boots along with his pajamas. Silly boy!

For our gross motor activity Baby "N" played Blanket Toss with daddy.  Again, we played some of the lullabies on the Music and Movement cd while we played.  We have been enjoying this cd, lots of fun playtime music for kids!

For art the boys made Sleepy Sheep.  This fun little craft is part of Funshine's monthly Art Pack.  The boys had fun coloring stars, making a finger print head for their sheep, and stretching cotton to make its fluffy body.

Coloring the stars and moon.

Obviously he got a little help from mom drawing the moon. ;-)

J Bug's sheep.  I love it!  Looks like the sheep is getting a running start.
